Heading Fonts: EB Garamond and serif

Serif typeface is regarded as the classic font or old-style typeface as it originates from the Roman fonts of the 15th century and takes on the slanted style of handwriting. Based on the 16th-century serif typeface, the EB Garamond font is the first choice for headings, with the generic "serif" font as a backup to ensure browser support if necessary. The serif font selection provides an old-world charm to the heading style and a clear contrast with the sans-serif fonts in the paragraph body.

Paragraph Fonts: Tahoma and sans-serif

Originated in the early 19th century, sans-serif fonts have a more industrial look. The sans-serif font has clean mono weight lines that provide easy readability of the smaller paragraph text size.
